How to Pay StarTimes Packages
There are many ways of paying for your Startimes Subscription, But in this article, I will cover two ways you can purchase.
Remember that currently, Startimes works in most African countries, and so will the payment methods change?
All payments and references were made in Ghana cedis because the images are article used were done in Ghana.
1. Subscribe Using the Mobile App
Follow these steps to subscribe Startimes package using the Mobile App
1. Open your Playstore or Apple store and search StarTimes On
2. Click on Install to get the App and Launch it.
3. On the screen click on Continue and Allow to let the app access your mobile system. (Location, Camera, etc.).
4. Pick Your Favorites (You are allowed to choose at least 3).
5. Enter your (Phone number, Email, Facebook, Twitter, or Gmail account) to Sign up/Sign in.
6. Click on the Me Icon and Click on StarTimes Decoder Services on the next page.
7. Click on Recharge
8. Enter your Smartcard Number and Click Next
9. Choose your Plan/Package and Choose your payment method
In Ghana, you can pay with Mobile Money, Visa or Master card, etc. The payment method will differ depending on your country
10. Click on Pay
11. Enter your Payment Password (Login Password).
After following these steps, your Plan/Package will be activated.
2. Subscribe Using the Mobile Money
How to Pay your StarTimes Packages in Ghana
You can also use mobile money to pay, In Ghana, you can use MTN, Vodafone, or AirtelTigo.
- The Code for MTN is *170#
- The Code for Vodafone is *110#
- The Code for AirtelTigo is *110#
After dialing the code,
- Select pay bill.
- Select option 9-StarTimes.
- Enter your account number (your smart card number).
- Enter the amount.
- Enter reference (any number or alphabet of your choice).
- Enter your mobile money pin and send.
How to Pay StarTimes Packages in Kenya
Follow the steps below to change your package whenever you wish.
- Dial *858# on your Airtel line or Safaricom.
- Select option 4 (Change package).
- Select the type of decoder you have.
- Select your preferred bouquet.
- Enter your Smart Card Number (input the first 11 digits) and send.
