Ingredients Method

Ingredients
  

Pizza Dough
  • 1 lb pizza dough store-bought or homemade
  • Flour for dusting
Sauce & Cheese
  • ½ cup pizza sauce
  • 1 –2 cups shredded mozzarella
  • 2 tbsp grated parmesan optional

Toppings (Optional but Festive)

  • Pepperoni slices mini or regular
  • Cherry tomatoes halved
  • Red green, or yellow bell peppers, diced
  • Black olives sliced
  • Fresh basil or parsley
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or 1 egg for egg wash

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Roll the pizza dough into a rectangle.
  4. Cut the dough into a Christmas tree shape.
  5. Add a small piece of dough at the bottom for the trunk.
  6. Spread pizza sauce over the tree.
  7. Sprinkle mozzarella and parmesan on top.
  8. Add pepperoni, tomatoes, peppers, and olives to decorate the tree.
  9. Brush the edges with olive oil or egg wash.
  10. Bake for 14–18 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  11. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.
  12. Add fresh basil or parsley on top.
  13. Slice and serve warm.
