  • 2 slices of bread
  • 2 tablespoons creamy or crunchy peanut butter
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon honey optional
  • 1 tablespoon chopped nuts optional
  • 1 tablespoon granola optional
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds optional

Method
 

  1. Toast the bread until golden brown and crisp.
  2. Spread peanut butter evenly over each slice of warm toast.
  3. Peel the banana and slice it into thin rounds.
  4. Arrange the banana slices evenly over the peanut butter.
  5. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
  6. Add honey, chopped nuts, granola, or chia seeds if desired.
  7. Serve immediately while the toast is crisp.
